CGS Regional Workshop: The Prepared Environment

What are the general principles of an atrium environment? How do we create this space? How many times as new catechists do we go back to our churches to create this special place we call the Atrium and run into problems that are unexpected in our spaces? During our time together at this workshop we are going to review the key areas in the Atrium and create an Atrium together. Through reviewing the prepared environment we are going to work through challenges that we all run into when creating our own space. We are also going to talk about receiving material that does not meet the needs of the child and how to address these issues when working with volunteers.
