What is Run Alpha Training?

Run Alpha Training is a one-day event that introduces people to the story of Alpha while explaining why and how Alpha works. Attendees will have an opportunity to experience a mock Alpha small group as well as Alpha prayer ministry.

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in Alpha is invited to attend. The training is great for anyone brand new to Alpha but can also be useful for those experienced in running Alpha. It’s always great to have a mix of experience levels and we often hear that even those experienced in running Alpha will walk away having learned something new. It is designed for anyone on the Alpha team but will be especially helpful for the course administrator, emcee and hosts and helpers.

What to expect?

Run Alpha Training will last approximately 6 hours. The training consists of 5 parts. Morning hospitality and lunch are provided. The training is interactive and guests will experience the Alpha lab-a taste of what a typical Alpha session is. Guests will leave hopeful, renewed and with a clear understanding of how to use Alpha in the discipleship path of their parishes.
